The last plein air for 2012

This is my last en plein air painting for 2012 by all probabilities. This year I have sketched and painted outside quiet a few times and it has helped me improve so much. But most importantly I have enjoyed these sessions a lot. And I must thank my group Pencil jammers for making this happen.

It's a beauty, Prabal! You have such a good eye for colors - the subtle pinks and greens work so very well here. :)

You have really caught the light in this painting Prabal. I like it a lot. Well done. Please take off the comment proof, it really is unnecessary.

So beautiful Prabal. :) But no surprise there. And I like the name pencil jammers. That would make a sweet rock band name right? Prabal and the Pencil Jammers, now all you need is an electric guitar. ;)

This is gorgeous, Prabal. The shadows on the building is amazing...looks like a photo! A wonderful plein aire painting to end the year with!!

What a high to leave the year on!
I love the soft pinkish tone to the building and the fact its echoed more faintly in the far distant building.
The shadows are outstanding too! xx

I think that by painting Plein Air you have maintained the spontaneity and freshness in your work, which is sometimes lost in a studio. Love it! :0)
